In an attempt to recognize the unsung heroes of advertising, we launched the Chihuahua Awards in 2011. What started as a student project turned into a collaboration with some of the top agencies in the country.
Our group published a website that allowed agencies across the world a chance to recognize one of their own. We spread it through the social media outlets and let it take off on its own.
Our overall goal was to show evidence that good ideas can come from anywhere, regardless of job title or rank. Anything is possible as long as no one cares who gets the credit.
